First Cleanup Dambadarjaa Day
On September 7, the students of Ueno-Seminar, Kwansei Gakuin University, held Cleanup Dambadarjaa Day at 58th school where CBYLC was established. This event was taken place as a lauching ceremony of the new club.
On the previous day of the event, the students of Ueno-Seminar gave an oral presentation to all the 11th grade students on the result of the survey that had been conducted in Study Tour 2009 and the introduction of community activities in Japan, including the appeal for the participation in the cleanup event. Eventually, more than 50 high school students of 58th School took part in this event and collected garbage that had been scattered in the dry riverbed close to the school, together with the students of Ueno-Seminar.
Some of the participants in the event said that they were really happy because they could make the area around their school beautiful.
