Mongolia Project

Project Description

Fieldwork by professor Ueno’s class- Mongolia Training Program

Since 2005, Professor Ueno at Kwansei Gakuin University has organized an annual study tour with her seminar students to learn about living conditions and problems in the urban community of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The purpose of the tour is for the seminar students to have field-work experience of research in a developing/transition country.

The Mongolia Week in Kwansei Gakuin University

During fallterm in 2010, we will build Mongolian house called “ger”in Kwansei Gakuin University, and hold exchange and study events as Mongolian culture. In these events, dialogues by professors and a photograph exhibition that introduced scenes every decade in Ulan Bator will be held.

CBYL Program (Community Building Youth Leadership Program)

In 2010, we start CBYL Program (Community Building Youth Leadership Program) with Zorig Foundation. We will think about community building with #58 high school students in Dambaadarja area within Ulan Bator.
